Had a very comfortable time. Plenty of meals for breakfast, it was varied and very good. - Great and fantastic location in a walking distance to everything. - All was fantastic.

It reminded us of the old days in France. Tall ceilings, old(but comfortable) furnishings, french doors, etc.It had been remodeled with new bathroom fixtures, air con, and sliding double paned doors to keep out the noise.

We stayed to watch a rugby match following 2 nights in Barcelona. It was basic but clean and very central to Perpignans attractions. It was perfect for our stay, easy check in and check out and breakfast available if required.

We only stayed there for one night so I can't really criticise any aspect of the hotel.

The food here is fantastic, offering a great variety of choices from coffee to fresh fruits.

Great location next to the Castillet in Perpignan, very friendly staff ready to recommend a restaurant and helpful at breakfast time, too- Hotel that has had many famous guests in its time: Dali, StExupery and Piaf )-

but quite rundown and in need of a full renovation (lift is very old, bathroom too and bed not so comfortable, but very large and quiet room)-

Hotel de France is well located in the centre of restaurants and shopping. It is in a beautiful area for walking and the hotel has a natural old charm.

Driving by car, the hotel location was difficult to find as directions on the internet were not sufficient. Parking was also a problem.

The location here is fantastic, right near the castle, making it really special.

3rd bed was crammed into a room with 2 beds already, dark room, with a curtain instead of a door on the small bathroom. staff didnt know we wanted a 3rd bed despite it being on an email they had.

A little old fashion in a nice way, basic bathroom,toilet shower, room with . balcony over looking the river (in our case). Bang in the centre of town, close to many restaurants,bars and shops along narrow winding streets literary behind the hotel. Great atmosphere - we thought we were in Paris! If you are out and about after 10 pm you are supplied with a key code you punch in to let yourself in. A ten to fifteen minute walk will get you to the railway stations, bus and coach departure points.

I liked having coffee and fresh fruit in the morning.

Wonderful old and modern hotel, we loved this place.

there were exceptionally comfortable beds and a work desk, coffee/tea making machines and tv inside the room.

Location is great just amidst downtown city

Hotel de France is a charming, comfortable, clean place to stay in Perpignan, located in a scenic and convenient sector of the city close to the old town, right on the flower bedecked banks of the canalized river. I loved being able to look out on the city scene and activity in the "plaza" in front of the neighboring Castillet, with the landscaping along the adjacent river banks in full spring bloom, and to also be able to see the acitivity at the tables in front of the cafes on the opposite bank. The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful, the "petit dejeuner" plentiful and delicious. I'd go back there and would certainly recommend it to others as a very good place to stay for a few nights.
